Why Mythbusters Rocks…
by Jacob P. on February 24th, 2010Comedy
In my opinion, Mythbusters is one of the best shows on TV, and most definitely the best science show available. The show blends humor and science artfully, making it a very nerdy comedy (or a very funny nerd show, depending on your opinion).
The show is primarily hosted by Jamie Hyneman (the owner of M5 Industries, a special effects workshop) and Adam Savage (an artist/movie maker/designer/magician). The show has Tony Belleci, Kari Byron, and Grant Imahara hosting the secondary plot of the show. The show is filmed in M5 Industries' workshop/warehouse in San Fransisco.

Travel Channel
by Jaclyn Abergas on February 22nd, 2010Reality TV
There is one constant cable channel I watch on TV, especially when boredom hits me: Travel Channel. It's always entertaining and never boring. And I love the fact that I get to see all these different places from the comfort of my own home. Funnily enough, a lot of the shows I love involve food one way or another.

The Office
by Ronald A. Rowe on February 17th, 2010Comedy
Are you watching The Office? If you've ever worked in a cubicle farm, you should be. The antics of Michael Scott and the gang at Dunder Mifflin Scranton are head and shoulders above the rest of the sitcoms on TV today. The bread and butter of the show is in its ability to make the most of an awkward situation.
Almost every week there is a moment in the show that brings the viewer an almost guilty, voyeuristic feeling, as if you are watching something that you just aren't meant to see but you don't know how to...

by Michele on February 12th, 2010TV News
The Winter Olympics begin today in Vancouver. NBC begins broadcasting at 7:30 pm EDT and will air the opening ceremonies. If you are planning on watching tonight's events, here is some information worth noting:
1. The opening ceremonies begin at 6:00 pm PT. So, if you live on the east coast and want to watch the whole ceremony, you should plan on being awake past 10 pm. Of course, it is Friday, so most likely you can sleep in on Saturday, if you're not a late night person.
2. During the opening ceremonies, "We Are the World 25 for Haiti" will...
