Worst House Ever

by Ronald A. Rowe on April 19th, 2010 | Drama
Are there any House fans out there?  I honestly can say that while not every episode is a masterpiece, I've never come away disappointed.  Until this week.

Did you watch it?  The missing baby episode?  What we had were five separate stories, none of which were very interesting.  It seemed more like a daytime soap opera than an episode of the best drama on TV.

Story #1 - A baby is missing.  The hospital goes on lockdown, setting up the other four stories.  As the police, the baby's family, and the hospital staff make a desperate search, Read More

American Idol Season 5

by Jaclyn Abergas on April 16th, 2010 | WMG
Season 5 of American Idol was, I honestly believe, the last good season of American Idol. There was a lot of strong talent and personalities present in the talent pool. We had our favorites, but we were never sure if they would win because results always could go another way.

These were some of my favorite performances.

Elliott Yamin "Somebody To Love"

I thought Elliott was the most talented contestant and singer the show had. He had the least amount of training, but he continued to deliver such great vocals every week. This is my most favorite performance of Elliott's (during Queen Read More

Spartacus: Blood and Sand – Episode 12

by Jenn McD. on April 14th, 2010 | Drama
If I haven’t already mentioned that I am OBSESSED with this show, I am saying it now! Friday’s episode was certainly the best of the season so far. All the secrets that have been hidden throughout the show came out in this explosive episode!

The show starts off with Crixus in the arena fighting another gladiator and doing what Crixus does best…he spills blood for the glory of victory. Under the arena, Solonius is in chains, awaiting his execution for the Magistrate’s death. Batiatus comes to see him with a few last insults before he unleashes Spartacus to defeat his Read More

Dancing With The Stars

by Ronald A. Rowe on April 12th, 2010 | Reality TV, TV Personalities
I don't like Dancing With The Stars. I do, however, like my lovely wife. So sometimes, just to spend time with her, I will sit through an episode of DWTS. And I've just got to say: I don't get it.

Dancing With The Stars, in its very title, promises two things: dancing and stars.  I saw very little of either.  Buzz Aldrin is many things: an astronaut, a national hero, a living legend.  But here are two things that he is not: a dancer or a star.  Really, raise your hand if you want to see Read More

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

by Jenn McD. on April 9th, 2010 | WMG
Friday’s episode of Spartacus: Blood and Sand, as usual, didn’t fail to disappoint. In this episode, there was the culmination of Batiatus’ plot over the last couple episodes to overthrow his rival Solonius, in addition to unleashing revenge on the Magistrate after humiliating Batiatus in the last episode.

Spartacus dealt with the sorrow of losing Varro and having to face Aurelia, Varro’s wife, to tell her that her husband died by his sword. While Spartacus fights with the emotions inside his head, we see him also dealing with a minor wound that Varro inflicted in their fight. The wound becomes infected, Read More
