TV Summer Season 2010

by Jaclyn Abergas on May 31st, 2010 | Comedy, Drama, Summer TV
The fall and spring TV seasons have come to an end, but don't worry, we still have the summer season to look forward to, of course! There are some old shows coming back for another season and some new ones competing for your attention.

Comebacks

Entourage (HBO)

Join Vince Chase with his manager, E; brother, Drama; and longtime pal/bodyguard Turtle for another season of the highs and lows of being a Hollywood celebrity. What will happen to Vince and Drama when they get back from Italy? What will happen to Turtle and Jamie in New Zealand? Will E and Sloane live happily Read More

Gossip Girl

by Jenn McD. on May 28th, 2010 | WMG
Last Monday’s episode of Gossip Girl was surely one of surprises! Before we get to them, though, I must welcome Dorota and Vanya’s new baby girl into the world. In true Upper East Side dramatic fashion, Blair was on her way to meet Chuck on top of the Empire State building to declare their love for each other once and for all, when Dorota went into labor. Chuck, who vowed that he would close his heart to Blair at 7:01 if she did not show up, and unknown to Dorota’s current state, left the Empire State Building with a truly Read More

Sanctuary: The Grey’s Anatomy Season Finale

by Jaclyn Abergas on May 26th, 2010 | Drama
I love Grey's Anatomy. Even during its annoying phases, I have always been a fan. I watch it religiously every Thursday night and loved George O'Malley.

I use a pretty big stick to measure season finales. I expect a lot from that last show of the season. So far this year, I’ve been pleased.

Community, which is rapidly growing on me, has really come into its own. They finally delivered some laugh out loud spots, interspersed with some dramatic (ok, comically-dramatic) moments. Jeff’s dilemma and corresponding choice left me laughing Read More

UNDATEABLE

by Jenn McD. on May 21st, 2010 | WMG
Last week, VH1 counted down the top 100 things guys do to guarantee that THEY WON’T be dating or having sex. For the majority of the countdown, VH1 was pretty spot-on. I’m going to point a few of the ones that were on the mark and give my female perspective on what makes these “deal breakers.”

*Re-adjusting your privates/picking your butt

-Uh, eww. Men, this is just nasty. I’ve never understood why the need to do this is appropriate in public. I completely understand the need to adjust whatever is taking place in your pants, but do we really need Read More
