I’m Popeye the sailor man. I’m strong to the finish ‘coz I eat me spinach. I’m Popeye the sailor man! Whoo whoo! You remember Popeye. He’s the muscular sailor who loves to eat spinach, gets constantly bullied by Bluto for his girlfriend, Olive Oyl.  He actually got me to eat spinach because I believed it was going to make me stronger.

Morning Cartoons Part II

by Jaclyn Abergas on May 12th, 2009 | Children's TV
Growing up in the 80s (or even farther back) , don't you miss the cartoon shows you grew up with? I sure do! It's just so sad that a lot of the cartoons we loved back then are now a little hard to find. Some are available as used DVDs, but it's almost impossible to get brand new copies of  them.

5. Transformers

Transformers, "more than meets the eye"! I'm glad they developed this into a full-length feature film. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing my favorite robots in their full glory. Does anyone not know what Transformers is all about? It's Read More

The first episode aired in September 9, 1985, and the whole series lasted until 1987. There Read More

Long gone is the live variety show featuring real kids, and in its place is a 3D animated show for preschoolers featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and the rest of the gang, including Pete.

The half hour television show heavily focuses on problem solving. At the start of each episode, before Mickey and his friends start to work out the problem presented in each show, they have to go to the Mousekedoer Read More

The Little Einsteins

by LJ Dovichi on April 5th, 2008 | Children's TV
My son's favorite show in the whole world is "The Little Einsteins". He will sit in rapt attention from the opening song to the finishing credits and then ask to watch it again. All I can say is thank goodness for DVR and all the episodes that are already out on DVD. As a work at home mother, what I like about the show is not only does it entertain my three feet of fun so I can squeeze bits of work in while he watches, but it includes him by asking for audience participation and teaches children about music, Read More
