A new show about models and the modeling industry is set to premiere this January on The CW. In Remodeled, Paul Fisher, a modeling agent veteran, helps two groups of people, small town agents and models. His mission is to keep small town modeling agencies from doing all the work and getting screwed over by the big agencies. He performs a "makeover" on agencies who want and need to get their places into shape and start becoming the best of the best in their town.

A number of reality shows will premiere at the start of 2012.
- Dark Minds will premiere on Investigation Discovery on January 25, hosted by crime author M. William Phelps and criminal profiler John Kelly. They work together to solve and bring justice to unsolved homicide cases -- but only the ones they believe have been done by serial killers. An anonymous source, a convicted murderer with multiple life sentences, is helping them catch these killers.
- Operation: Osmin on nuvoTV will be back with its second season on January 13. Osmin Hernandez is a former military officer who's now making a living

The Cake Boss from Hoboken, New Jersey has issued a challenge to find the best baker among the contestants. All of the others get sent home in a Carlos' Bakery box truck. The competition is fierce and intense. The show airs on Monday nights at 9 PM on TLC.
Among the contestants is an army cook, a seven-months-pregnant wife, and plenty of people with lots of attitude. There are thirteen contestants in all. One of them, Heather Grub, was voted to join the contestants from an online voting poll through TLC.
So far, the challenges have been relatively close to Carlos.

The latest in outrageous reality television shows debuted on November 28, 2011 on the E! Network to some very mixed reviews. The idea of the show seems tame enough: a series chronicling the process of discovering the next big name in modeling. However, due to the controversial things exhibited in the show, many parents and rights groups have come out in fervent opposition to the show. The point of the show is for girls to get signed by a top New York modeling firm, but there are many outrageous bumps along the way.
