I, too, am becoming annoyed with Lea Michele’s character. Her demands at Christmas (before her change of heart) were ridiculous. However, my daughter and I continue to watch for the humorous moments with the hope that the show will return to its old form.

Thanks for the PS! I wasn’t sure who all of the “celebrities” and thought maybe it was just me. Glad to know that the competitors aren’t as famous as one would believe.

House started off great, as seasons 1 and 2 were fantastic. Then it hit a major bump when the whole Tritter thing sabotaged season 3 (like anyone really believed that House would lose his medical license… I mean, come on). The show recovered somewhat after that, but there remained too much emphasis on the personal lives of people like Chase and Cameron (who just became annoying distractions, especially Cameron). Then the new team was established, and it was decent with Cutner and Thirteen, although Taub was consistently annoying. Since then things have gone slowly downhill, culminating with the abomination that was season 7. After that disaster, no one seems to be able to take the show seriously anymore. It’s finished.

I wholeheartedly agree with your analysis of this show. I have been subjected to it twice, and both times I have found it to be unenjoyable. Thankfully, Jessie is not a favorite show in our house.
