Last Wednesday on MTV’s Fresh Meat 2, the game changed as alliances began to crumble as Wes and his other members turned on Wes’ closest friend, Danny. Week after week, teams have been eliminated, and there are only a few teams left. Each day brings the teams one step closer to the final challenge and the grand prize of $300,000 that will be split among the top 3 of the final 4 teams.
On this past episode, in typical RW/RR challenge fashion, people were scrambling to save their butts not to end up in Exile. Wes’ alliance (made up of Wes, Ev, Landon, Cj, and Sydney) decided even before the daily challenge that they were going to send in Danny and Sandy, Wes’ best friend and other member of the alliance, in to Exile so they could take out Jillian and Pete, members of Kenny’s alliance and one of the teams that could prevent anyone in Wes’ alliance from winning any part of that grand prize money.
Danny, who has been known to be very emotional in these challenges, took this news very personally. Wes told him that if Kenny and Laurel won again, Danny and his partner Sandy should throw themselves into the Exile and that they would have their choice of who they would go against in the Exile.
The alliances’ true intentions were to weed out the weak players to make sure that the people who could prevent them from winning the money would be eliminated. In the “Drop Out” challenge, Kenny and Laurel once again blew the competition out of the water and were safe from elimination and were able to choose the one team that definitely was going into elimination. Ryan and Theresa were one of the teams that were playing the fence and working for both sides as double agents. If Kenny and Laurel would win, Wes’ alliance would tell Ryan they were going to vote him in and were to tell Kenny who he should throw in.
As planned, Danny was selected to Exile and as planned, instead of voting in Ryan and Theresa, Wes’ alliance voted in Jillian and Pete. In the Lost and Found Challenge, Danny and Sandy, who were the underdogs going into this Exile, were the leaders of the Exile until about the last leg of the course. Unfortunately for Danny, Sandy wasn’t able to keep up, and Jillian and Pete came in for the victory and eliminated Danny and Sandy from the competition.
