Three Rivers

three-riversThree Rivers tells the stories of organ donors, the organ recipients and the surgeons at a premiere transplant hospital. This medical drama is led by Dr. Andy Yablonski (played by Alex O’Loughlin), the lead organ transplant surgeon, who’s highly skilled but works non-stop. Dr. Miranda Foster (played by Katherine Moennig), is a surgical fellow who can’t keep up with her father’s excellent reputation as a surgeon and develops a rebellious temperament. Dr. David Lee (played by Daniel Henney) is a surgical resident who has broken more hearts than fixed or replaced them. Ryan Abbott (played by Christopher Henke) is the inexperienced transplant coordinator. Dr. Sophia Jordon (played by Alfre Woodard) is the head of surgery and has no patience for other people who’ve made no sacrifices. Last but not least, Pam Acosta (played by Justina Machado) is Dr. Yablonski’s operating assistant and best friend. Together, they try to save lives on Three Rivers.

V is the newest science fiction television series to premiere on US primetime TV. It’s a re-imagining of the 1983 miniseries of the same name, created by Kenneth Johnson. Giant alien spaceships have positioned themselves on top of 29 cities all over the world. They’ve come in peace, they say. But a few humans begin to doubt them and set out to investigate their true motives. FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans (played by Elizabeth Mitchell) leads the team, which also includes Fr. Jack Landry (played by Joel Gretsch) and Ryan Nichols (played by Morris Chestnut), a Visitor posing as a human.
