Now that the fall season is over, I’ve been watching a lot of reruns on TV. And one thing I noticed, most of them are shows I watched during the 90s. That’s right. From the 80s we now go to the 90s.
1. Full House
Set in San Francisco, Full House is about the crazy adventures of Danny Tanner, his three girls (DJ, Stephanie and Michelle) and his best friend, Joey Gladstone, and brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis. Danny’s wife died in a car accident, leaving him to raise their three girls. He enlists the help of Joey and Jesse in bringing up the girls. I grew up watching this show and was probably the thing that sparked my interest in San Francisco.

2. The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air
The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air was the show that jumpstarted Will Smith’s acting career. Will Smith plays Will of West Philadelphia, who was sent by his grandma to Bel-Air, to avoid getting into trouble. His laidback attitude clashes with his uncle’s strict and controlling nature and leads to a lot of arguments.
3. Step By Step
Step By Step stars Patrick Duffy (Frank) and Suzanne Sommers (Carol), who impulsively marry each other. Each having three kids of their own, this results in the fusion of a really big family. The former families of four becomes one family of eight (and eventually, nine, with the birth of Frank and Carol’s kid). It’s chaotic but never boring.
4. Sabrina, The Teenage Witch
Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a spin-off of the comic book of the same name. Sabrina Spellman is a witch in high school. Having only discovered her powers on her 16th birthday, she hasn’t quite gotten the handle on the magic thing just yet.
What shows did you use to watch when you were a teenager?
