Comedy

ctrl_castWhat if you had the power to undo your last mistake? In NBC’s newest webshow, Ctrl, office nerd Stuart (played by Arrested Development’s Tony Hale) suddenly has that power. Because of his immature boss Ben’s (played by Steve Howey) immature actions, Stuart’s juice spills all over his keyboard and creates a freak accident, where pressing “Ctrl + Z” undos the actions that just happened in his life.

With ten episodes up on NBC.com, it’s refreshing to see new original comedy shows being developed by big network companies. And it seems webshows now are giving televised shows a run for their money. Well, not really. But webshows give writers, creators and actors a new way to show their new and original TV ideas to the public without the big network executives having to worry about a lot of money wasted.

Become a fan on their Facebook page and a get a chance to win a Season One DVD of the show. And this could mean only one good thing. Ctrl will have a second season. I wonder what they’ll do this time. Will they introduce new characters? Will Stuart get the woman of his dreams? Will Stuart still need his magic keyboard?

I don’t know the answer to these questions. But I do know I will watch out for Season Two. And maybe this time, I’ll watch for it on the small screen.
