What happened to Community? Last season ended on a hilarious high note with the two-part paintball redux finale. Even though the finale was one story told over two weeks, the writers still maintained the paradigm of a new movie / theme / genre exploited each week, shifting beautifully from Western to Sci-Fi mid-story. Oh, those good old days of last year.

From the producers of Friday Night Lights and Desperate Housewives comes a crime drama that will challenge the people inside the New York City homicide department every step of the way. Based on the British show of the same name starring Helen Mirren, Maria Bello stars as NYPD homicide Detective Jane Timoney, a hard-edged detective who will do everything to solve the crime. Her colleagues don't like her, especially her new department. It's a boys' club and a tight clique, and women are not allowed, especially women like Timoney.
