We've watched them, we've loved them, we've tuned in every week since then. Here is a list of the best new shows of 2009. 1. V V is a re-imagining of the 1983 miniseries of the same name. Starring Elizabeth Mitchell, Morena Baccarin and Scott Wolf, V is about an alien species who have come in peace to Earth but actually have dangerous plans that do not include taking care of humans.
