Mudcats premieres on February 9, about a group of men in Oklahoma called "mudcatters", who have been taught by their fathers and grandfathers the hand-fishing method with the purpose of passing the method down to their children and grandchildren.

  • From the writer of HBO's Sex and the City comes the prequel everybody's been waiting for. The Carrie Diaries has been picked up by the CW and will feature Carrie Bradshaw's life before she moved to New York.

  • The CW has also ordered a remake of the 1987 television show, Beauty and the Beast. It'll be set in modern times with a procedural angle.

When other people criticized Glee for being too cliché and annoying, I was one who defended it. It’s funny because of the stereotypes! The characters are supposed to be exaggerated! Normal people really do break into song all the time! OK, so maybe that last statement is totally false. But still.
