American Idol

Is it just me, or was the audition round of American Idol just flat this year? The great auditions weren't all that great. The bad auditions weren't as funny as in the past. I don't know if they ran through the very best and the very worst and we're left with something in the middle or if it is just a case of "we've seen it all before". The Biggest Loser Continued

Last Tuesday, another contestant was voted off The Biggest Loser. Homemaker Tracey Yukich from Allen, Texas, was the eighth person voted off by her peers on the reality show. There are only eight contestants left to compete for the grand prize of $250,000. Last week, we talked about the five of the remaining contestants. 1. Allen Smith - Last week in Washington, DC, he lost another 9 pounds, bringing his weight down to 253 lbs from 325. 2. The Perils of Reality TV

I avoided watching reality TV like the plague. I couldn't imagine the appeal and I was vocal in my opinions. So, I was careful not to watch because I knew if I didn't watch them, there was no possible chance I'd get sucked into them and end up looking like a fool. Also, I'd tune out conversations on the shows and their contestants for the very same reasons.
