15. Phil Ritchie was one of the controversial finalists who were sent home during Rockstar Supernova. The host and band questioned his commitment when Phil Ritchie gave an interview with one of his hometown newspapers  and said that he was appearing on the show to “create free publicity for his band and he doesn’t even like Supernova’s music”. Well the band didn’t like it, and they sent him packing. After the show, he went back to his band, Lennex, which he also left in February 2008, to be on his own.

16. After the show, Jenny Galt started touring with The Satellite Party, which took her to Howard Stern’s show to a European tour to a Dave Letterman appearance. She has since left the band and reinvented herself as Army Of Jennys and has shifted from rock to pop music. She released an album under Army Of Jennys called Polygraph in 2008.

17. After the show, Chris Pierson went solo for awhile before forming his own band, CP Band. They released their debut EP called The Height of Paranoia. They have been touring since then and are currently recording their second album.

18. Since Rockstar Supernova, Matt Hoffer has formed his own band, which recently released their debut album, The Downfall Of An Empire. They are currently touring the US to promote their EP.

10. Patrice Pike has gone back to her roots and to the thing she loved to do: write and perform music. Since the show, she has been awarded Musician of the Year and was even the youngest musician to be inducted in the Texas Music Hall Of Fame. She also co-founded The Grace Foundation of Texas. The foundation seeks to help re-train victims of child homelessness in the areas of health, education and wellness.

11. Zayra Alvarez is a unique individual that the band, the host, the other finalists and the other fans did not get. But Zayra is a musician and a rocker. Since the show, she has formed a band, COBRALUSH, and they are set to release their own EP soon.

12. Jill Gioia is proof that big things come in small packages. What a voice! After the show, Jill formed The Jill Gioia Band, and they’ve opened for several musicians, including Kelly Clarkson and Enya. You also can hear Jill’s voice in several TV and radio commercial ads, including Ford, Gillette and La-Z-Boy.

13. Since the show, Josh Logan went back to his band from before the show and has renamed it The Josh Logan Band, with him as lead vocals and rhythm guitar. They currently are performing in New England while they work on their EP, Gone Tomorrow, Here Today. Josh Logan also was named by Hippo Press as Best Local Performer Playing Songs and was one of the semi-finalists at the Independent Northeast Songwriting Competition.

14. Dana Andrews was the fifth person eliminated from the show. She joined the band, Everything After, after the show and relocated to South Carolina. Now complete, the band recorded two tracks, under the production of Rin Vinson and Aaron Thompson, which led them to record their EP, The Lamp Store Sessions (released in 2007).

5. Dilana Robichaux has been busy touring with other rockstars (including fellow finalist, Magni Asgeirsson) or independently since the show. Her performances have been met with positive feedback and even won her (and Magni) an FM957 People’s Choice award for “Gig of the Year”. Her album, Darklight, will be released in 2009.

6. Toby Rand is the Australian bet who always wowed his audience with his singing talent, along with his charming personality and good looks. He continues his music career as the lead singer of Juke Kartel, the same band he was with before the show. Ever since Rockstar: Supernova, Juke Kartel has been enjoying international success and has signed with Emporium Music. They are set to release their album in 2009.

7. Magni Asgeirsson toured and performed around the world, including his native Iceland (with fellow finalists Dilana, Toby Rand, Storm Large and Josh Logan) after the show. In 2007, he released his first solo album in English. He is currently the lead singer of the Icelandic band, A Moti Sol.

8. Storm Large was one of the favorite rockstars in Rockstar: Supernova. It doesn’t matter if people liked her performance or not, people loved her for her personality, which was always very positive and affirming. Storm currently is performing as the lead singer of The Balls.

9. Ryan Star was dubbed by Dave Navarro as “The Darkhorse” of Rockstar Supernova because he was the one singer who always came from behind to go to the top. Since his rockstar stint at Supernova, he has been receiving positive criticism for his performances. He is set to release his album, 11:59, this 2009 and will open David Cook’s The Declaration Tour set for this year, too.
