Homemaker Tracey Yukich from Allen, Texas, was the eighth person voted off by her peers on the reality show. There are only eight contestants left to compete for the grand prize of $250,000.</p>
<p>Last week, we talked about the five of the remaining contestants.</p>
<p><strong>1. Allen Smith &#8211; </strong>Last week in Washington, DC, he lost another 9 pounds, bringing his weight down to 253 lbs from 325.</p>
<p><strong>2. Amanda Arlauskas &#8211; </strong>Last week, Amanda lost 8 pounds, bringing her weight down to 207 pounds.</p>
<p><strong>3. Daniel Wright &#8211; </strong>Danny lost 11 poundss in Week 8 and is now down to 261 pounds.</p>
<p><strong>4. Danny Cahill </strong>- Danny continues to lose weight in double digits and lost 12 pounds in Week 8, moving from 430 pounds to 333 pounds.</p>
<p><strong>5. Liz Young</strong> &#8211; Liz had a weak Week 8 and lost only 3 pounds, which put her on the chopping block for elimination. Fortunately, the other contestants decided to keep her for another week.<span id="more-421"></span></p>
<p>Let&#8217;s move on and talk about the other remaining contestants.<!--more--></p>
<p><strong>6. Rebecca Meyer, </strong>25, student/nanny from Des Moines, IA, has always been the baby and the heaviest in her family. She joined The Biggest Loser to change all that. She started at The Biggest Loser ranch at 279 lbs. As of Week 8, she has lost 60 lbs, bringing her weight down to 219 lbs.</p>
<p><strong>7. Rudy Pauls, </strong>31, an engineer from Brooklyn, CT, has constantly used food as answer to his pain. He got teased a lot as a kid and turned to food for comfort. He then became active in sports to keep his weight in check. But when his sister died of leukemia, he turned to food again for comfort. Now, he wants to lose the weight and keep it off. And he&#8217;s doing a good job. As of Week 8, he&#8217;s lost 110 lbs, bringing his weight down from 442 lbs to 332 lbs.</p>
<p><strong>8. Shay Sorrells, </strong>30, a social worker from Newport Beach, CA, has led a hard life. She grew up in an overweight family where all celebrations were centered around food. She is determined to turn this around and lead a healthier lifestyle for her husband and stepsons. In Week 8, Shay lost 9 lbs, bringing her weight down from 476 lbs to 393 lbs.</p>
