There are tons and tons of television shows airing all over nearly the same amount of channels.

But what are the best television shows on air at this time? There is a list that neatly lays out the hottest shows currently on television, but I can’t say I completely agree with the entire thing.

According to TV.com, a website dedicated to all things television, they have compiled a very large list of top television programs; right at the top is the show LOST which airs on ABC. Unfortunately that really isn’t a surprise seeing as how popular the show really is. It does beg the question, though, what else is on the list?

One tier down (at spot number two) sits Smallville, the CW show depicting Superman’s questionable youth. Then rightfully (in the top ten) comes Battlestar Galactica, Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Supernatural, House, Family Guy, NCIS and the tenth spot is dominated by Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

It seems almost painstakingly correct even if The Office falls lightly in slot number 24, and we’ll excuse the fact that Hannah Montana strangely appears in slot number 34. That is, of course, until we see that Dexter falls in spot number 53 (out of the top 100), with Breaking Bad landing at terrible number 95, just five spots shy of the 100 mark.
