reach the sunKevin Michael Connolly is an amazing man. He was born without legs, but that has never had an effect on his zest for life. His parents did not coddle him, and took him on adventures around the world. He even gave up his prosthetic legs at the age of 12 and never used them again. When he became an adult, he tired of being looked at in weird ways by others. While he was traveling through Europe in 2006, he began taking pictures of people giving him odd looks. These photos were published online on a website called “TheRollingExhibition.com”. His photos eventually ended up in The Washington Post, on CNET, and on ABC’s 20/20, just to name a few. He went on to win the Extreme X Games competition, winning silver, and used the winnings to travel the world to enjoy more adventures.

Kevin has continued to enjoy making rigs that will allow him to attempt anything, and he loves to travel around the globe seeking new adventures. The Travel Channel signed Kevin to film Armed & Ready to follow him in his adventures. Debuting on February 26th, 2013, Kevin joined lumberjacks in the Smoky Mountains to attempt to climb a 50-foot tree, and then rolled down a steep hill in a huge hamster ball. He also tossed axes at a target 40 feet away. He completed his trip by negotiating himself down a river with class-4 rapids. Upcoming episodes include Kevin cliff diving, mountain boarding in Hawaii on lava rock, and even a zero gravity flight with NASA. Kevin is not afraid to try anything!

Armed & Ready airs on Tuesday nights at 10/9c. Kevin is an inspiring man that can show those with and those without limbs that you get out of life what you put into it. He is definitely an inspirational man and fun to watch.4 recliners
